About Us

The Mamaroneck Youth Hockey Association (M.Y.H.A.) is a private, non-profit, parent-run corporation founded in 1994. Town of Mamaroneck resident boys and girls are eligible to try out for selection to our teams. Our select travel team ice hockey program is sanctioned under USA Hockey, with most 1st teams (Tigers) competing in the Long Island Amateur Hockey League (L.I.A.H.L) and most 2nd teams (Cubs) competing in the Hudson Valley Hockey League (H.V.H.L.).

While both boys and girls can try out for our Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Midget teams, M.Y.H.A. also has a separate select travel program for girls 16 and under. Our 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U Mamaroneck/Rye Ice Cats teams compete in the Girls American League of Hockey (G.A.L.).
